She's a brick....workout.

I had a brick workout this morning. I haven't done one of those in about two years (thank you school). Anyhoo, since my sister is a big believer in rewards, I'm going to go ahead and say I rewarded myself with a cupcake that was given to me post-ride. It was from Little Cakes (with Big Attitudes) in Alexandria and at first sight it looked...questionable.

It had a piece of bacon on top! It was called a french toast cupcake. Now, if I were to close my eyes I would say if it smells like french toast and tastes like french toast, then it must be! BUT IT'S NOT! It's a cupcake!

I haven't had macaroni and cheese in a while. Mmmmm, the blue box. The Lionboogers will be attending a wedding later today, next week is the River Cities triathlon (I will be cheerleader and not racer, which I'm actually very excited about.) and I have a job interview on Tuesday. So, if (and I mean really IF, please please please keep your fingers crossed.) I get it then I will have two things marked off my list! Mom bought me a new pair of running shoes and they are wonderful. Then all that is left will be a date. No cage fighters allowed.

Yes I supposed I could make this a long post and talk about what's up.

I went on an interview with a particular hospital and wasn't picked for the job. They called me to tell me and I appreciate that. However, as if verbal rejection wasn't enough...juuuuuust in case I forgot they didn't want to hire me, they sent me an email as well reminding me, "Hey, we picked someone else." I thought it was really funny! (seriously!)

Next, I went to schlotzsky's with my friend, Alice', and saw a childhood friend(ish) working the cash register and to make a long story short, he talked on and on about himself and his cage fighting (first thought I had was Kip from Napoleon Dynamite) and then somehow wrangled my phone number out of me (I think I blacked out for a few minutes, I'm positive I didn't know what I was doing) Then he calls me a few days in a row, but I think he got the hint.

Well I say that, but who knows...

So I supposed that is all in the life of moi. Hopefully I'll have more interesting news to report some other time.
