Party in the U.S.A.

Off to Mandeville tonight to celebrate my friend Jennifer's 24th birthday. I forget that I have a picture from last weekend at the tri.

It was toooo hot that day! So glad I didn't race, though David (the half naked guy in the picture) is trying to convince me to run the NOLA Jazz half marathon in October. It has potential, but it's a short time away to get my miles up since I want to PR. I figure if I decide to do it, I can run it as best as I can and then really go for gold in December at the Baton Rouge Beach half marathon.

I hear the Young and the Restless theme song downstairs. It's calling me.
