Second Row Stepper.

As said in prior post, I visited Franco's gym today. If anyone has ever seen Dodgeball, it's comparable to Globo Gym. It has everything one would need to survive and look awesome.

Jennifer and I decided to try out the step aerobics class tonight. It was so much fun. When I was in high school, over Christmas break, I paid for a month's worth of jazzercise classes at my dance studio. There I was, 17 years old. Youngest by 20 years at least. I woke up every Saturday morning at 6am and would go jazzercise. Dance aerobics is probably what I would want to do in my career as a fitness guru.

Anyway, I always wanted to do step classes when I worked out at LAC. Unfortunately they only held them at 9am and I was at work during that time, so I always stuck to spinning with my sole sista (shout out.)

Tonight, my step dreams came true. Some of the moves were a little hard to pick up, but the instructor came and helped me out. She knew me and Jen by name towards the end of the class. The usual steppers had some more advanced variations that we want to learn so bad!

The picture above is an accurate picture of what our class was like (including the older man on the front row!) The old man in our class was REALLY good. He had definitely had some rhythm. In fact, I watched him more than the instructor!

Jennifer and I didn't think we did all that great until everyone came up to us after class and asked us if we had done it before! It was so funny! "I can't believe you picked it up so fast, it took us a month to get the moves down!"

We were so pumped. It confirmed that step class was meant to be. I plan on going back for more and eventually moving up to the front row. It sounds silly, but I don't have confidence in a lot of things I do. Step class isn't super important, but I felt good doing it. Especially since I had a less than stellar bike ride today.

AND on a side note, Jennifer and I were doing some extra workouts in a private studio, when we met a man in a windsuit and ballroom dancing shoes. TURNS OUT, he goes to a local wine bar every Monday and there is a ballroom instructor who teaches the Argentine Tango Jennifer and I already picked our Monday to go. I'm so excited!!!

yes we did it with Mr Mike. He does it for us for free. I think it's because he thinks we are funny. I even bit my lip REALLY HARD (didnt bust it though PTL) and I was kind of hoping it would be red this morning so I could say "running injury"... no luck.

It was so hard that Bethany collapsed on the stretch table and said, "i'm gonna barf. i THOUGHT I was in shape"

mmiss ya loveya okay bye.
